Job Description:

The Product Marketing Manager is a dynamic individual with excellent interpersonal skills and a proven history in driving engagement and acquisition campaigns for a website. This individual will develop programs to drive new customer acquisition, conversion and retention at PlayFirst. This position is ideal for the candidate looking to take on more responsibility and career advancement. You will report to the Director of Marketing.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive CRM strategies, site segmentation and email marketing through data-based analyses.
  • Drive traffic and revenue for our site and new game launches by managing and implementing several key marketing programs (newsletters, trigger emails, site flows, etc.)
  • Examine customer segments to determine key drivers for Customer Lifetime Value (from acquisition to retention across all types of customer contact – newsletter, community communication, etc.)
  • Optimize marketing programs based on ROI and customer lifetime value.
  • Guide marketing strategy/initiatives based on current marketing programs and tests.
  • Trouble-shoot existing report discrepancies and database inaccuracies as you will be a liaison between IT/Operations, Engineering and Marketing.

Requirements:

  • 4-7 years of marketing experience.
  • Hands-on online marketing experience, including managing and tracking marketing campaigns (trigger emails, newsletters, landing pages, A/B testing of marketing programs and managing & tracking of promotions and discounts).
  • Proven ability to drive data-driven strategy and results.
  • Strong analytical skills; experience with Microsoft Excel and/or Access, and familiarity with other productivity applications. Comfort with SQL strongly preferred but not necessary.
  • Detail-oriented with strong project and people management skills and a high sense of accountability and integrity.
  • Organized self starter with a can-do attitude and an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Strong communication skills and team-orientation.
  • Four year college degree with strong computer skills.

Preferred:

  • Consumer-facing products background
  • Experience in the casual games industry
  • MBA Preferred
